The staff here is friendly to everyone and the rooms are modern, clean, and have hypo-allergenic pillows.

The hotel's location was magnificent right in the centre of Ponta Delgada. The breakfast with homemade waffles and away option for early flights, for instance was extensive and bountiful for what you got.

We had a nice, spacious room with an equally spacious bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet very extensive - there is something for everyone.

There are no parasols on the sun terrace with pool. That would have been convenient as it was very warm and sunny.

The staff at Hotel Talisman were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting me with private parking. the room was modern and had a nice view of the park. the beds were extremely comfortable, and the heated pool was a great feature.

Updated and big rooms, had a very nice stay with 3 nights in each town. In the center of the city, very convenient. Fresh food in the restaurants such as Pizzaria Donatello, located 10 min away.

Great traditional hotel in the best location in Ponta Delgada.

It was all good, maybe a little overpriced.

The breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, the room had a nice view, and there was yogurt available, as well as a twin room with a bathroom and good WiFi.

Room was spacious and clean with lovely view onto garden; buffet breakfast included individual choices for type of coffee, cooking of food, etc. Desk staff were knolwedgeable, always friendly and helpful for what to do and see and where to obtain services both tourist and personal.

most of staff extremely friendly, huge beautiful room with a king-size bed, hotel is exceptionally clean and well kept, perfect location close to the town centre, the ocean and the airport, restaurant offered typical meals a la carte and buffet for dinner on most days (delicious food!), a lot of cosy corners with comfortable sofas and armchairs in the lobby as well as on the floors

between english breakfast, cereal and cakes breakfast had sufficient variety but over a few days a change of the cakes, cereals, ... would have been nice (we stayed 5 nights so had the same breakfast every morning)

Stayed in a guest room which was perfect for me. A great shower and even a bidet were a plus. - the location in Ponta Delgada was magnificent and lovely, a short walk to historic churches, the Azores, and central plaza.

Very good 3 star hotel, more like 4 star. Perfect location, excellent breakfast buffet, comfortable room with wide double bed and powerful shower, safety box in the room, helpful English speaking staff, good value for money.

Room not sound proof and one could hear noise from corridors, especially from restaurant where tables and chairs were moved around in the middle of the night.

Top location. Room clean. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was all right. Staff attentive, but not annoying.

At first we had a very small room facing the street. It was very loud and very hot, because the air conditioning didn't work. We could change the room after one night and got a much bigger and quieter room. There is only one parking option for 6 Euro a day. But there are enough free places on the street.

The employees were super friendly and amicable. Our breakfasts were plentiful with a take-away option for early flights.

The service here is excellent, there is off-site parking, the room is very clean with a nice view, and they have a good selection of amenities.

You really feel welcome at Hotel Talisman. The staff is very service minded and friendly. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed and invites to enjoy a coffee or sitting reading a book in one of the nice public areas. The interior in the public areas is special and different from what you see in a standard (business) hotel. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant all 7 nights - usely we go out to try different restaurants every day - but the menu was so varieated and tasty that we just didn't feel like going somewhere else. Hotel Talisman is defenitely one of the best 3 stars hotels I have ever stayed at!
